No sound (white LED is not illuminated): •MakesurethatthepowersupplyisproperlyconnectedtotheJBLOnStageIVand

to a working AC outlet.

•Ifyou’reusingbatterypower,replaceallsixbatterieswithbrand-newdisposableor

freshly charged rechargeable batteries. The LED will glow amber if the batteries need

replacing.

•TheJBLOnStageIVisintheenergyconservationmode(ithasdetectednosound

for at least 10 minutes).

No sound (white LED is illuminated): •TouchtheVolumeUp(+)buttontoincreasethesystemvolume.

•Ifyou’reusingadockediPod/iPhone,makesurethatitisproperlydockedintheJBL

On Stage IV.

•Ifyou’reusinganauxiliarysource,makesurethattheaudiocableisproperly

connected to the JBL On Stage IV’s Audio In connector and to the source

component’s audio output.

•MakesurethattheiPodorothersourcecomponentisnotinthePausemodeand

that its volume control is not turned all the way down.

Sound crackles, hisses or is distorted: •TurntheiPodorothersourcecomponent’svolumedown.

•MakesurethattheiPod’sEQsettingissetto“Off.”

Loud hum or buzzing: •MakesurethattheaudiocableispluggedallthewayintotheAudioInputjack.

•Replacetheaudiocable.

•UnplugthepowersupplyandconnectittoadifferentACoutlet.
