Information for setting up // to the measurements of our machines
Dear Customer,
Many thanks for your interest in our products!
In this document you will find a couple of basic tips and information concerning setting
up a Huber temperature control machine.
Arrangements for the working area:
It is best if the machine stand free and unhindered for use in your laboratory.
If you should however wish to plan for the machine to stand in an alcove, recess or a
narrow corner, then please pay attention to the following:
All our machines transfer heat energy out of the machine housing and into the
environment using one or more fans.
In addition, air cooled machines transfer the entire energy taken from the temperature
controlled object into the environment.
This warm exhaust air must be able to rise without hindrance. Fresh air must also be able
to enter the machine. Please ensure there is sufficient clearance to the ceiling and walls
where the machine is sited.
With water cooled machines there should be at least 10 cm, and with air cooled
machines at least 20 cm space around the machine.
With air cooled machines, the distance from any obstruction to the rear of the machine
must be at least 70 cm.
For the pump connections, it must be ensured that if possible there are short direct
connections to the fluid outlet and inlet lines. The more generous any curves are, the
easier the thermal fluid can flow. With the smallest elbow connections from our range of
adaptors, with an M30 pump connection, you require a minimum distance of at least 15
cm, and with M38, at least 20 cm.

Measurements of our machines:
The size measurements given in the data sheet are the basic size of the machine. Small
protrusions are not included.
