Parts and operating
controls
1 Kettle(withwaterlevelindicator)
2 Lid with lock
3 Lid release button
4 ON/OFF Oswitch,illuminated
5 Limescalelter(removable)
6 Base
7 Cable tidy
Important: Use the kettle 1 only with its
included base 6.
●Only ll the kettle with water. Milk and
instant beverages will burn and damage
the appliance. Never operate the kettle
1withoutwateranddonotoverllit;
observe the min and max markings.
Ifthekettleistoofull,thewaterwillboil
over!
Before using
for the rst time
●Removeanystickersorlm.
●Unrolltherightamountofcablefromthe
cable tidy 7 and plug it in.
●Fillthekettle1 with water. Bring the
watertoaboilanddiscardit.Repeatthe
procedure. This will make sure that the
kettle is clean for normal use.
●Whenthewatercomestoaboilforthe
rsttime,addatablespoonofwhite
vinegar.
Boiling water
●Fillthekettlewithfreshwaterthroughthe
spout or the open lid 2(presslidrelease
button 3).
●Readthequantityonthewaterlevel
indicator.Donotllwithlessthan
0.3 litres or more than 1.7 litres of water!
●Closethelid2 until it locks and place the
kettle 1 on the base 6.
●Pressdowntheswitch4;theswitchlights
up. The water is heated.
●Thekettleswitchesoffautomaticallyonce
the water has boiled.
The appliance can also be switched off
at any time by pulling up the ON/OFF O
switch 4.
Warning: If you remove the kettle 1 from
the base and replace it before the heating
processisover,thekettlewillnotcontinue
to heat the water.
