■ This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age, as long

as they are supervised and have been given instructions about using the

appliance safely and are fully aware of the dangers involved.

■ Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless

they are older than 8 and they are supervised by an adult.

■ Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years

of age.

■ When using the appliance, always place it on a flat, stable, heat resistant

work surface away from water splashes and any sources of heat.

■ This appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities, or whose experience or knowledge is not sufficient,

provided they are supervised or have received instruction to use the

appliance safely and understand the dangers.

■ Children shall not play with the appliance.

■ Always unplug the appliance when leaving the room or your home for

prolonged periods and when assembling/disassembling or cleaning.

■ Do not let children use the appliance without supervision.

FACTORY CONTROL

■ Your appliance was checked and tested before leaving the manufacturing factory. Despite the care taken

when cleaning, it is possible that you may find coffee residue in the coffee grinder and/or drops of coffee on

the drip tray. Thank you for your understanding. We also recommend that you perform several rinse cycles

before using the appliance for the first time or when it has not been used for several days.

USAGE LIMITATIONS

■ For your safety, this appliance complies with applicable standards and regulations (Low Voltage Directive,

Electromagnetic Compatibility, Materials in contact with food, Environment, etc.).

■ This Automatic Espresso coffee/espresso machine should only be used to prepare espresso, coffee, hot

water or to froth milk.

■ The guarantee period of this appliance is 2 years and/or 6000 cycles (8000 cycles for EA9000) with
