SWITCHING ON

• After lling your kettle with water, place the kettle on the base unit.

• Connect plug to power supply and press On/Off switch. The appliance will begin to operate and the indicator light will come on.

SWITCHING OFF

• When the water boils, the kettle will switch off automatically and the indicator light will go off.

NOTE: This appliance has a safety system, which automatically switches off the heating element if the appliance is inadvertently

switched when empty, or if it boils dry. In this case, let the appliance cool down completely, before lling with water again.

SWITCHING ON AGAIN

• The kettle can be switched on again after cooling down about 15-20 seconds automatically, while the kettle has been switched off

automatically.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

DESCALING

• Always remove the plug from the power supply before cleaning and let the appliance cool down completely.

• Clean the outside of the kettle and the base unit with a soft damp cloth, then wipe with a dry cloth. Do not use scouring materials.

• Make cleaning the kettle from the scale regularly. Use special cleaners agent, which can be obtained from specialist shops and

follow the instructions given.

• Before switching on the kettle make sure, that the outside surface of the appliance and all electric contacts are absolutely dry.

FILTER CLEANING

• Remove the lter out of the kettle.

• Place under a tap water and rub gently any remaining by soft brush (not included).

• Replace the lter between the two grooves near the spout at the front of the kettle.
