• Place the appliance on a stable level and heat-resistant surface, away from hot objects (e.g. hotplates), open ames; do not place

under curtains or low wall-cupboards.

• You should never leave the appliance unattended during use.

• Keep the appliance away from children.

• Use the kettle only with the base unit supplied, and do not use the base unit for any other purposes.

• Never remove the kettle from its base unit while in operation. Switch the appliance off rst.

• Take care to close the lid properly before switching on. Otherwise, the appliance will not switch off automatically and hot water

may overow.

• The kettle is intended for water heating only, and is not to be used for any other liquids.

FILTER PLACING

• Open the lid by pressing on the lid open button.

• Place the lter between the two grooves near the spout at the front of the kettle.

• Ensure that the lter is pressed down to the bottom of the grooves and ts correctly then close the lid.

NOTE: Never leave the lter loose in the kettle. Never remove the lter while the kettle contains hot water.

FILLING

• Remove the kettle from the base unit.

• You can ll the kettle with water via the spout or opening the lid.

• Do not ll with less than 0.5 liters of water (below to “MIN” mark) to prevent the heating element running dry while operating.

• Do not ll with more than 1.7 liters of water (up to “MAX” mark). Avoid overlling to prevent the water spilling out during the
