SWITCHING OFF When the water boils the kettle will switch off automatically and the indicator light will go off NOTE This appliance has a safety system which automatically switches off the heating element if the appliance is inadvertently switched when empty or if it boils dry In this case let the appliance cool down completely before filling with water again SWITCHING ON AGAIN The kettle can be switched on again after cooling down about 15 20 seconds automatically while the kettle has been switched off automatically CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE DESCALING Always remove the plug from the power supply before cleaning and let the appliance cool down completely Clean the outside of the kettle and the base unit with a soft damp cloth then wipe with a dry cloth Do not use scouring materials Make cleaning the kettle from the scale regularly Use special cleaners agent which can be obtained from specialist shops and follow the instructions given Before switching on the kettle make sure that the outside surface of the appliance and all electric contacts are absolutely dry FILTER CLEANING Remove the filter out of the kettle Place under a tap water and rub gently any remaining by soft brush not included Replace the filter between the two grooves near the spout at the front of the kettle SPECIFICATION Power supply 220 240 V 50 Hz Power 2200 W Net weight of lpc without packing Gross weight of lpc 0 93 1 46 kg Gift box dimension Lx Wx H 225 x 185 x 220 mm
