BEFORE FIRST USE
Before the first use, wash thoroughly the heating plates of the waffle-maker

with a damp
cloth and wipe clean.
NOTE! Before cleaning the heating plates make sure the appliance is unplugged!
NOTE! When the waffle maker is turned on for the first time, it may release some smoke. This will pass in a few
minutes of heating. The first waffles made with the brand-new waffle maker are not recommended for eating.
USING WAFFLE-MAKER
1. Oil the heating plates

with butter, margarine or other fat.
2. Plug the waffle maker to the mains. The indicator lamp
5
will be on when the waffle maker
is connected to the mains. Turn the temperature control knob

to (High). The hot plates will
become hot, and while the process continues, the indicator lamp
6
will be on. Close the top
lid and ready the batter for the waffles.
3. When the waffle maker reaches the set temperature, the indicator lamp
6
will be off. Adjust
the temperature of the hot plates with
4
according to the batter and the doneness level.
LOW is about 130°C. HIGH is about 230°C. You can set the temperature anywhere between
LOW and HIGH. The indicator lamp
6
will go on and off during operation. This means that
the deep fryer is maintaining the set temperature.
4. Open the top lid

, place the dough onto the bottom heating plate

and gently close the
lid.
5. When closing and opening the lid, proceed carefully owing to hot vapours escaping from the
sides of the waffle-maker.
6. Baking the waffles may take from 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the batter and set temper-
ature.
7. Open the top lid

, take out the waffles using wooden or plastic spatula only.
NOTE! Do not use and metal and sharp knifes or forks, otherwise the damages of heating surfaces may occur!
8. After baking turn the thermostat knob to “0”, pull out the plug from the outlet and allow the
appliance to cool down completely.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning (and after baking), pull out the plug from the outlet and allow the appliance
to cool down completely.
2. Thoroughly wash the heating plates

using damp cloth or towel.
3. Wipe the external surface of the waffle-maker using wet cloth.
