BEFORE FIRST USE
Before the rst use, wash thoroughly the heating plates of the wae-maker

with a damp
cloth and wipe clean.
NOTE! Before cleaning the heating plates make sure the appliance is unplugged!
USING WAFFLE-MAKER
1. Oil the heating plates

with butter, margarine or other fat.
2. Plug the appliance:
power supply indicator

– will be lit all the time, indicates connection to the network.
thermostat indicator

– lights up when heated wae iron. In operation, the lamp will
light up and go out, indicating the thermostat.
Close the top lid

and prepare products for baking.
3. The wae-maker heats up within approx. 10 minutes – the thermostat indicator

will
turn on.
The temperature is controlled using thermostat. To pre-heat the heating plates set the
thermostat knob

to maximum level and wait until the thermostat indicator
6
switches
on. Control the quality of rst waes to adjust the baking time or temperature.
4. Open the top lid

, place the dough onto the bottom heating plate

and gently close the
lid. Check the waes during baking: carefully lift the top lid ajar. If the waes require more
frying, close the top lid.
5. When closing and opening the lid, proceed carefully owing to hot vapours escaping from the
sides of the wae-maker.
6. Waes are ready after about 7 minutes of baking.
7. Open the top lid

, take out the waes using wooden or plastic spatula only.
NOTE! Do not use and metal and sharp knifes or forks, otherwise the damages of heating surfaces may occur!
8. After baking pull out the plug from the outlet and allow the appliance to cool down com-
pletely.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning (and after baking), pull out the plug from the outlet and allow the appliance
to cool down completely.
2. Thoroughly wash the heating plates

using damp cloth or towel.
3. Wipe the external surface of the wae-maker using wet cloth.
NOTE! Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids! Do not wipe the inside of the appliance with
acute, abrasive cloths or sponges, as this can damage the heating surfaces!
