1.1.6 shutdown

 Command: shutdown

 no shutdown

 Function: Shut down the specified VLAN interface of the switch. The no operation of

the command will enable the VLAN interface.

 Command Mode: VLAN Interface Configuration Mode.

 Default: The VLAN interface is enabled by default.

 Usage Guide: While shutting down the VLAN interface of the switch, it will not send

data frames. If this interface needs to obtain an IP address via BOOTP/DHCP protocol, it

should be enabled.

 Example: Enable the VLAN1 interface of the switch.

 Switch(Config-if-Vlan1)#no shutdown

1.2 Commands for IPv4/v6 configuration

1.2.1 ipv4 hardware forwarding enable

 Command: ipv4 hardware forwarding enable

 Function: Enable IPv4 layer3 forwarding function.

 Parameter: None.

 Default: Disable.

 Command Mode: Global mode.

 Usage Guide: Become effective after reboot.

 Example: Enable IPv4 layer3 forwarding function.

 Switch(config)#ipv4 hardware forwarding enable

1.2.2 ipv4 hardware forwarding l3 <1-256>

 Command: ipv4 hardware forwarding l3 <1-256>

 Function: Set the L3 list number of IPv4.

 Parameter: None.

 Default: 256

 Command Mode: Global mode.

 Usage Guide: None.

 Example: Set the L3 list number to be 200.

 Switch(config)#ipv4 hardware forwarding l3 200

1.2.3 ipv4 hardware forwarding lpm <1-128>

 Command: ipv4 hardware forwarding lpm <1-128>

 Function: Set the Lpm list number of IPv4.

 Parameter: None.

 Default: 128
