8. Connecting the meter to a PC

8.1. System requirements

To use the Interface Program, you need the following hard- and

software:

* An IBM PC or equivalent computer

* Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7

* At least 512 MB of RAM

* At least 8 MB free space in hard drive

* A free serial or USB port.

8.2. Installing PeakTech

3315 Interface Software

To install the Interface Program, please follow below procedure:

1. Insert the provided CD-ROM into CD-ROM drive.

- Double click the "COMPUTER" icon on the Windows

Desktop

- Locate the CD-ROM drive from the windows, double click

the drive letter to display the folder of P 3315.

- Double click P 3315 to display the contents of the folder.

- Double click the file "P3315.EXE".

2. Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

3. The installation program will create a PeakTech

3315 folder.

You will be prompted to select the kind of Program Folder you

want to install; you should select "PeakTech

3315 Interface

Program".
