Special Safety Instructions for this Machine

• Use only cold or tap water when lling.

• The water level must be between the MIN and MAX marks. Note that if the kettle is

overlled, boiling water may spill and may burn the user.

• Ensure that the kettle is switched o before removing it from its base.

• The kettle is only to be used with the base provided.

• The appliance is for household use only.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent

or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.

• The base and exterior of the machine must not be wet.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced

physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they

have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person

responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play

with the appliance.

First Use of the Machine

Discard the rst batch of boiled water from your kettle to make sure any leftover dust/

elements from manufacturing is eliminated.

Using Your Kettle

1. Place the machine on a at surface.

2. Open the kettle by pressing the Lid Release Button on the Handle. Then ll your kettle

with water.

3. Close the lid.

4. Place the kettle ush on the base. Switch the kettle on (the switch is located at the

bottom of the handle). The indicator light then lights up.

5. The kettle switches o automatically when the water has boiled.

6. After use, dis connect the kettle from the mains power supply. Note: Make sure that the

lid is rmly closed when pouring out the water.

Cleaning

• Always pull out the plug from the socket before cleaning.

• The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly damp cloth

without additives. Never immerse the appliance in water. Never put the appliance in a

dishwasher. Make sure that the electrical connections do not become damp.
