TUNER MODE

Selecting the tuner input source

1 Select the TUNER input source by pressing

»SOURCE« on the device or »FM« on the re--

mote control.

– The most recently selected station is played

(Last Station Memory).

Selecting presets

1 Select a preset by pressing »5« or »6« on the

remote control.

Note:

You can also select the preset with the number

buttons »1 ... 0«.

For two-digit preset numbers, first press

»10+«. The "10s place" then stays selected.

Stereo/mono reception

When the hi-ﬁ system receives stereo channels,

»!« appears in the display. If the signal from

the stereo channel is weak, you can improve the

sound quality by switching to mono reception.

1 Press »!« on the remote control to switch to

mono reception.

2 To switch back to FM stereo, press »!« on

the remote control.

Displaying RDS station informa-

tion

If the device receives an RDS station, the station

name appears in the display together with »RDS«. If

no information is available, the reception frequency

appears in the display.

Additional information can be displayed.

1 To display information on the current RDS sta-

tion, press »RDS« repeatedly.

– The following displays appear in sequence:

The name of the radio station.

The current programme type (PTY), e.g.

»Pop music«. »[No PTY]« appears if infor-

mation is not available.

The time.

The radio text.

The frequency.
