dng on the locaton where you use
t. When you need ths, consult the
closest Authorzed Servce.
The explanaton above s a general

drecton of the door.

If interior light uses a LED type lamp.

problems with this lamp.
5.9 Defrosting
a)Fridge compartment
The frdge compartment defrosts
automatcally. The defrost water runs to
the dran tube va a collecton contaner
at the back of the applance. Durng
defrostng, water droplets may from
at the back of the frdge compartment
where a concealed evaporator s located.
Some droplets may reman on the
lner and refreeze when defrostng s
completed. Do not use ponted or sharp-
edged objects such as knves or forks to
remove the droplets whch have refrozen.
If, at any tme, the defrost water does not
dran from the collecton channel, check
that no food partcles have blocked the
dran tube. The dran tube can be cleared
wth a ppe-cleaner or smlar mplement.
Check that the tube s permanently
placed wth ts end n the collectng tray
on the compressor to prevent the water
spllng on the electrc nstallaton or on
the floor.
b) Freezer compartment
Defrost twce a year or when a frost
layer of around 7 (1/4’’) mmhas
formed. To start the defrostng
procedure, swtch off the applance
at the socket outlet and pull out
the mans plug. All food should be
wrapped n several layers of paper and
stored n a cool place (e.g. frdge or
larder). Contaners of warm water may
be placed carefully n the freezer to
speed up the defrostng.
Do not use ponted or sharp-edged
objects, such as knves or forks to
remove the frost.
Never use hardryers, electrcal heaters
or other such electrcal applances for
defrostng.
Sponge out the defrost water
collected n the bottom of the freezer
compartment. After defrostng, dry
the nteror thoroughly (pcture 8 &
9). Insert the plug nto the wall socket
and swtch on the electrcty supply.
