Automatic brewing
Note

In order to use the auto brew function you must
first set the clock.
Setting the clock
1 Press the settings button for hours

to set the
current hour.
– Press and hold the button to advance the num-
bers quickly.

Make sure the AM /PM indicator is set cor-
rectly.
2 Press the settings button for minutes

to set the
current minute.
– Press and hold the button to advance the num-
bers quickly.
Setting the auto brew func-
tion
1 Follow the steps 1 - 8 in the “Brewing Coffee”
section.
2 Press the PROGRAM button

to set the de-
sired auto brew time.
– PROGRAM begins flashing on the display

.
3 Set the time you want the appliance to begin
brewing by using the settings button for hours
J
and the settings button for minutes

.

After setting the auto brew start time the pro-
gram indicator will automatically stop flashing
after a few seconds and the display will return
to the current time.

To check your auto brew start time, simply
press the PROGRAM button
N
. The set time
will be displayed for a few seconds on the dis-
play

while the PROGRAM indicator flashes.
It will automatically return to current time.
OPERATION _________________________________
4 Press the AUTO ON button

– The green indicator light around the AUTO
ON button
K
will illuminate and AUTO will
be displayed on the upper right corner of the
display

5 The coffee maker will automatically begin
brewing at the preset time.

When the brew cycle begins, the green indi-
cator light around the AUTO ON button
K
will turn off and the red indicator light around
the ON/OFF button
M
will illuminate to indi-
cate the coffee maker is in operation.

To shut the auto brew function off, simply press
the AUTO ON button
K
again. The green
indicator light will turn off and AUTO will dis-
appear from the display

.
6 Remove the glass jug
G
from the warming
plate
H
, as soon as the brewing process has
finished and the glass jug
G
is filled. The cof-
fee is ready.
7 To turn the appliance off, push the ON/OFF
button
M
.
