Cleaning and care

1 Turn the appliance off and unplug

the power cord

from the wall

socket.

2 Before cleaning, allow the ap-

pliance to cool completely. The

appliance can become very hot

and may take up to 45 minutes

to cool.

3 Clean the housing and the plates

only with a damp, soft cloth.

Caution

Never put the appliance or power

cord in water or any other liquid.

Do not use any cleaning agents.

Note

Before using the appliance after

cleaning, dry all parts carefully

using a dry soft towel.

Storage

If you do not plan to use the ap-

pliance for a long period of time,

please store it carefully.

Make sure that it is unplugged,

has completely cooled and is

completely dry.

Lock the heating plates on the ap-

pliance using the plate lock

Do not wrap the power cord

around the appliance.

Keep it in a cool, dry place.

You can use the hanging loop at

the upper end of the power cord

to hang the appliance on a

hook.

Make sure that the appliance is

kept out of the reach of children.
