Prerequisites
1 Remove the battery.
2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “Removing the optical drive”.
3 Remove the keyboard.
Procedure
1 Remove the ve screws (M2x5) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest
assembly.
