Core™X-seriesProcessors.

• EnsurethatyouinstallthecorrectCPUdesignedforLGA2066socketonly.DONOT

installaCPUdesignedforothersocketsontheLGA2066socket.

• TheCPUtsinonlyonecorrectorientation.DONOTforcetheCPUintothesocketto

preventbendingtheconnectorsonthesocketanddamagingtheCPU.

• EnsurethatallpowercablesareunpluggedbeforeinstallingtheCPU.

• Uponpurchaseofthemotherboard,ensurethatthePnPcapisonthesocketand

the socket contacts are not bent. Contact your retailer immediately if the PnP cap

ismissing,orifyouseeanydamagetothePnPcap/socketcontacts/motherboard

components.ASUSwillshoulderthecostofrepaironlyifthedamageisshipment/
