• TEMPERATURE
Press button.
Each time this button is pressed, setting temperature rises
1°C.
Each time this button is pressed, setting temperature lowers
1°C.
• STOP OPERATION
Press button.
OPERATION lamp goes off and the air conditioner stops opera-
tion.
OPERATION RANGE
If the temperature or the humidity is beyond the following condi-
tions, safety devices may work and the air conditioner may not
operate, or sometimes water may drop from the indoor unit.
• INDOOR UNIT
NOTE
The setting is impossible for fan operation.
CAUTION
Do not turn off the power supply immediately after the
operation is stopped. Make sure to wait for 5 minutes or more
to avoid water leakage and malfunction.

Characteristic of the heating operation
DEFROST OPERATION
• As the frost on the coil of an outdoor unit increases, heating effect decreases and
the system automatically goes into DEFROST OPERATION.
• The hot air stops, and the remote controller display shows “ ”
(DEFROST/HOT START).
• After 6 to 8 minutes (maximum 10 minutes) of DEFROST OPERATION, the system
returns to HEATING OPERATION.
Outdoor Temperature and
Heating Capacity
• The heating capacity declines along with the decrease of outdoor temperature. In
that case, please use the air conditioner concurrently with another heater.
• This air conditioner belongs to the hot-air circulating type and therefore it may take
some time for the indoor temperature to go up.
• If the hot air can not reach your feet, please use the circulator (indoor circulating
fan). Please contact the dealer for details.
