It is not adjustable.
• Pulse mode can be used by pressing and releasing the
respective pushbutton in intervals.
• The appliance turns off when you release the pushbutton.
Short-time operating
Do not operate the appliance longer than 3 minutes continu-
ously. Leave the device to cool down for at least 3 minutes
before using again.
The stick hand blender
Also refer to our illustrations B and C on page 4.
Assembly / Disassembly of the stick hand blender
Blending stick:
Place the motor housing onto the blending stick (6). The
buttons for disassembly (5) are located in the recesses of the
blending stick. The motor housing needs to audibly click into
place.
Egg beater:
Insert the egg beater (9) into the adapter (8). It needs to audibly
click into place. Place the motor housing onto the adapter. The
buttons for the disassembly are located in the recesses of the
adapter. The motor housing needs to audibly click into place.
Pull the blending stick or the adapter away from the motor
housing during disassembly, while holding both buttons (5)
pressed down.
Operating the blending stick
1. Before pureeing, cut up large pieces of solid foods (maxi-
mum Ø 1.5 cm) and add some liquid.
2. Plug the power cord into a properly installed earthed
socket.
3. Immerse the entire mixing head of the hand mixer (7) / the
egg beater into the food or the beverage. Hold the appli-
ance upright. This way you prevent splashes.
4. Hold the handle with one hand so that you can simultane-
ously press one of the pushbuttons (
or TURBO).
5. Release the pushbutton before you remove the blending
stick / egg beater from the container.
WARNING: Risk of injury!
The motor overtravels. Wait until the knife comes to a com-
plete standstill.
NOTE:
Interrupt the process if the maximum speed is too slow.
Reduce the quantity of the food being mixed. First break up
any solid food.
6. Pull out the plug from the socket after use.
7. Immediately clean the device after each use as described
under “Cleaning”.
The cutting and shredding set

Assembly / Disassembly of the cutting and shredding sets
WARNING: Risk of injury!
The cutting, grating and shredding sets and the chopping
knife are very sharp on the cutting or shredding surfaces and
on the edges! Handle these parts with care!
Chopping knife:
Place the chopping knife (14) over the guide pin in the center of
the bowl (16).
Tool holder with stainless steel inserts:
1. Set the desired insert (17, 18, or 20) into the tool holder
(19). Observe the following illustration. First place side a of
the insert into the recess of the tool holder (19). Then press
side b (
) into it. To remove the insert, push side b out of
the lower side of the tool holder.
2. Place the tool holder over the guide pin in the center of the
work bowl.
Lid:
1. Set the lid (13) onto the work bowl so that the symbol
can be seen across from the handle.
2. Turn the lid in a clockwise direction until it audibly clicks
into place. The arrow on the handle must point to the
symbol .
To remove the lid, press the button (15) and simultaneously
turn the lid anticlockwise.
Motor housing
Place the motor housing (4) onto the adapter (12) in the lid. The
buttons for disassembly (5) are located in the recesses of the
adapter. The motor housing must audibly click into place.
During disassembly, pull the motor housing away from the
adapter, while holding down both buttons (5).
Chopping with the chopping knife
1. First, cut the food into small pieces. Place the ingredients
into the bowl. Refer to the details of quantities in the table
below. Do not ll above them (minimum 250 ml – maximum
750 ml).
2. Place the lid onto the bowl. Tighten it until it audibly clicks
into place.
3. Seal the feed shaft (13) with the pusher (11).
