button during video recording, the previous and
following 10 seconds of the current fragment
will be protected from rerecording.
Photo mode
• When recording is not on, press MODE
button to choose the photo mode. The upper
left corner of the screen will display the
icon. Press OK/REC button to take a photo.
Only the left camera is used for photo taking.
• You can set various parameters of photo.
Please see “Setup“ paragraph below for more
details.
Playback mode
• When recording is off, press MODE
button repeatedly to enter playback mode.
The upper left corner of screen will display
icon. Press and buttons to choose
the files. Press REC/OK button to play the
selected file. Press this button to pause and
resume playback. Press MODE button to stop
playback.
• In file playback mode select a file, then
press MENU button. A menu will appear in
which you can select to delete the file.
Press REC/OK button to confirm deleting.
AV output and HDMI output
• Connect the AV output of this unit to an
external audio-video device (e.g. car TV) with
the supplied audio-video cable. Now this unit
can be used as audio and video sugnal source
for the external device.
• Connect the HDMI output of this unit to an
external audio-video device (e.g. car TV) with
the supplied HDMI cable. Now this unit can be
used as high-quality digital signal source for
the external device.
PC camera
To use this unit as a PC camera,no special
software is required to be installed to your
PC. After this unit is connected to the PC via
USB cable, the display will show three modes
for selection (press and buttons to select
them):
• USB_Disc: It is a computer interface
between a computer and a digital camera
which shows the digital camera as a removable
disk drive attached to the computer.
• PC_Camera: A webcam is a video
camera which feeds its images in real time to a
computer or computer network via USB. Only
the left camera is used as web camera.
• REC_Mode: Press REC/OK button to start
video recording.
Setup
In recording or photo mode press MENU
button to display the setting menu. In the menu
press MODE button repeatedly to select a
setting page, then press and buttons to
select settings. Press REC/OK button to go
to adjustment of the selected setting; select
options with and buttons and press REC/
OK button to confirm. Press MENU button to
exit from the menu.
The menu in your unit may be changed
without prior notice and hence be different from
the menu described below.
Recording mode setup
• MP: 480P/720P_V/720P_H. Select
resolution of the recording video.
• RT: 2 minutes/5 minutes/10 minutes/Off.
Select saving time for each fragment.
• Sensor On-Off: switch on or off the second
camera operation.
• Setting:
Bright: select white balance mode: auto/
sunlight/fluorescence/cloudsky/tungsten.
EV: adjust the white balance of the image
from +3 to -3.
Color: select color effect of the video: null/
black and white/negative/ancient/reseda.
Motion detect: On/Off. Activate or deactivate
motion detector.
Water mark: off/on. Select display of date
and time in the video.
Audio record: On/Off. Activate or deactivate
