OPERATION MAINTENANCE Inlet grill cleaning Timer Function Usage OFF Timer Function Washing of the inlet grill after detaching it is available when the dirt in the slit is hard to be removed With this function the system stops operating after the designted period A Caution Be sure to detach the inlet grill from the indoor unit when washing 7 Press the ON OFF switch Make sure that the operating conditions are those desired After washing wipe off the moisture completely from the inlet grill then dry it in the shade completely Moisture on the inlet grill may cause electric shock When detaching the inlet grill do not touch the metal fin of the unit to avoid the possibility of the injuries 2 Set the tinier mode to OFF by pressing the timer mode switch Make sure that the timer mode indicator of the indoor unit lights up Set the operating period by pressing the time setting switches When detaching or attaching the inlet grill do not stand on any unstable step to avoid falling Do not use hard materials such as scrubbing brush or pot scourer when washing the grill It may cause the scratches on the surface Wash the grill softly to avoid deformation or scratch cracks of the grill Do not use any detergent other than neutral one Wash neutral detergent away completely when it is used Do not place in a direct sun light to avoid deformation or discoloring The operation period can be set from 1 hour to 12 hour by an hour Y Open the inlet grill Open the inlet grill by pushing each ends of the grill with thumb to the Timer Cancellation Just press the timer mode switch several times until TIMER mode disappears upper 2 Detach the grill Raise the inlet grill to the horizontal angle then draw the grill to detach it from the indoor unit 3 Wash the grill Changing the Designated Period Press either A orT time setting switch to adjust the operating period The timer then immediately start its function 4 Attach the grill Attached the grill as before Keeping the inlet grill horizontally insert it until the three claws is properly set into the holding Then gently push the grill to the closure 14 19
