OPERATION AND SERVICE FEATURES

READ MANUAL EXTREMELY CAREFULLY !

1. Do NOT aim scope at Sun. It can be damaged.

2. Use contrast, display brightness and digital detalization settings. It will make

possible to have better image quality especially under severe weather conditions.

3. Always tighten battery compartment cover securely.

4. Do not let water and snow ingress on objective lens. It deteriorates image

quality. Water does not pass heat. Clean objective lens with soft tissue / cloth only.

5. In case image becomes “washed-out” under cold climate conditions and it

is not possible adjust it with objective lenses focusing as well as eyepiece

dioptric adjustment, it may happen eyepiece lenses got “sweat”. Eyepiece

shall be wiped with soft cloth.

6. Target detection distance and image quality are reduced / deteriorated

when raining/fogging/snowing.

7. Some image details got lost during nighttime (from 1 a.m. till dawn)

and sky/ground are faded in grey background. It happens due to natural

environment cooling and dew fall on trees/grass.

8. Once scope is installed on weapon, make sure weapon and scope mounts

are placed precisely towards barrel. Reticle allowable deviation makes up

not more than 50 clicks for precise horizontal/vertical shoots.

9. It is NOT REQUIRED TO ZERO SCOPE WITH DIGITAL MAGNIFICATIONS.

10. Mount’s rail moves horizontally. If necessary, it is possible release xing

screws and align it.

11. In case you failed to install riescope on weapon securely or you

have some doubts about correctness of mounting process, please contact

specialized weapon workshop.

Important note ! Always choose high quality mounts (Producer recommends

mounts of such companies as Electrooptic Ltd., Innomount or Pulsar).

Otherwise scope’s zeroing accuracy cannot be guaranteed. When Blaser

weapon is used for installation, YOU SHALL USE «INNOMOUNT» MOUNTS

ONLY (50-PA-10-00-200 OR ITS ANALOG).

12. Scope can be used within wide temperature range – from -20°С to +50°С.

However, in case scope was brought from cold to warm environment, image

may be blurred due to condensate formation on external lenses.

13. Scope shall be stored in bag under warm, dry and well ventilated

environment at 95% relative humidity and 25˚С temperature.

14. Protect scope against any mechanical damage.

15. Protect lenses from dirt and grease. Dirty and greasy spots deteriorate

image quality. If necessary, clean external lenses of objective and eyepiece

with soft tissue dipped in alcohol.

Important note ! Dirt on lenses and coarse tissue may scratch them.
