General Safety Requirements 1 Use the device solely for the intended purpose The manufacturer is not liable for the damages resulting from the failure to comply with requirements of this manual 2 People with reduced capabilities lack of knowledge and experience as well as children are not allowed to use the hot air styler without monitoring or instructing regarding the application of the device to be conducted by a person responsible for their safety 3 Hot air styler packaging material may pose a hazard of suffocation for children Keep the packaging in an inaccessible place It is strictly forbidden to play with the device 4 The operating voltage of the device must match the voltage used in your home network The hot air styler must only be connected to a network with a grounding that conforms to the established standards When using the device application of non standard power supply facilities is prohibited Do not use electrical extension leads splitters and adapters to plug in the hot air styler For additional protection the installation of a residual current device RCD having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom Installation is to be effected only by qualified staff 5 Prior to every switching up make sure that there is no damage to the casing stand and power cord of the hot air styler It is forbidden to plug the hot air styler in the socket if any ones 6 Do not use the appliance outdoors or operate near bathtubs showers basins or other vessels containing water Keep it away from flammable materials direct sun and high temperature Do not immerse the appliance in any liquid 7 Disconnect and connect the power plug by holding onto it with dry hands instead of pulling on the cord Do not use the appliance while bathing never touch it with wet hands 8 When wetting the switched on hot air styler or falling it into the water disconnect the device from the mains immediately The following operation of the device is possible only after checking performed by a skilled professional 9 While operating place the hot air styler only on a flat dry surface Keep it away from the edge of the working surface and vessels containing water Keep the cord away from heated surfaces 10 Do not use the hot air styler on hair that is dripping wet remove excessive moisture from hair with a towel 11 Attachments may get hot during use Allow them to cool before handling Should the hot air styler stop working due to overheating plug it off and let it cool down for 10 15 minutes before switching it on again 12 Do not use the appliance on artificial hair 13 While hot air styler operating do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat sensitive areas do not touch the air grill Never block the air inlets of the appliance 14 Never leave an appliance unattended while in use even for the short time period 15 Keep air inlets free of hair dust or fluff 16 CAUTION I Don t use the hot air styler near water 17 Clean the appliance regularly Never clean the plugged hot air styler and rinse it with water 18 Do not repair the hair dryer on your own The appliance is to be serviced by the qualified personnel only 19 The power cord can not be replaced If the cord is damaged then the hot air styler can not be repaired Attention Warranty is invalid in case of the misuse of the appliance Before using your hot air styler 1 Take the hot air styler out of the box remove all packing 2 Make sure that the operating voltage corresponds to the mains voltage used in your house 3 Make sure that the hot air styler is switched off before using it position 0 Attention During the first few minutes of the initial use you may notice a specific odour This is normal and will quickly disappear 5
