2. INSTALLATION

Before you do installation:

WARNING! Risk of physical injury!

Cut injury when the product starts accidentally.

v Slide the protective cover

over the blade

before you

do installation.

To charge the battery: The battery should be fully charged before using for the first time.

Charging time (see 7. TECHNICAL DATA).

The lithium-ion battery can be re-charged in any state of charge,

and the charging process can be interrupted at any time without

damaging the battery (no memory effect).

The product cannot be started during charging.

WARNING!

Incorrect mains voltage damages batteries and the

battery charger.

v Ensure the correct mains voltage.

1. Connect charging cable

to the jack

of the Battery Shear.

2. Connect battery charger

to an electrical socket.

During charging, the jack

flashes green. The battery is charged.

When the jack

lights up green, the battery is fully charged.

Check the charge status regularly while charging.

3. First pull the charging cable

out of the jack

and then unplug

the battery charger

from the electrical socket.

When there is a sharp fall in the power of the battery, the product

switches off and the battery needs to be charged.

3. OPERATION

Before you do operation:

Risk of injury if the product does not stop when you

release the start button.

v Do not bypass the safety devices or switches. For example

do not attach the starting lock-out

or start button
