u Avoid operating the machine in wet

grass, where feasible.

u Walk, never run.

u Never operate the machine with de-

fective guards or shields, or without

safety devices, for example deflect-

ors and/or grass catchers in place.

u We would advise you to wear ear

protection for your own conveni-

ence.

u Never operate the product when you

are tired, ill or under the influence of

alcohol, drugs or medicine.

u Working on banks can be dangerous:

− Do not mow on excessively steep

slopes.

− Always be sure of your footing on

slopes or wet grass.

− Mow across the face of slopes

never up and down.

− Exercise extreme caution when

changing direction on slopes.

u Use extreme caution when stepping

back or pulling the machine towards

you.

u Never mow by pulling the mower to-

wards you.

u Wait until the blades stop if the ma-

chine has to be tilted for transporta-

tion when crossing surfaces other

than grass and when transporting

the machine to and from the area to

be mowed.

u Do not tilt the machine when starting

or switching on the motor.

u Switch on the motor according to the

instructions with feet well away from

rotating parts.

u Do not put hands or feet near or un-

der rotating parts.

u Always stand clear of the discharge

zone when operating the machine.

u Never pick up or carry the machine

while the motor is running.

u When storing, make sure that all 4

wheels of the garden tool stand on

the ground/floor.

u Only lift the garden tool with the car-

rying handle. Use the carrying handle

with care.

u Do not modify the machine. Unau-

thorized modifications can impair

the safety of your machine, lead to

increased noise and vibrations, and

poor performance.

Leaf Collect

The leaf collect blade has been de-

signed to allow you to pick up autumn

leaves from your lawn. In order for this

functionality to work within optimal

parameters, please note the following:

– Only collect leaves with the ma-

chine set at maximum cutting

height.

– Collect leaves from your lawn only.

– Before collecting leaves inspect

the area where the machine is to

be used and keep people, pets,

glass structures and cars away

from use.
