Quick installation Manual Scan Channels found using the manual scan function Manual Scan are added to the channel list When this channel scanning method is used the existing channel list is not deleted The use of this function supposes that the frequency Frequency and the bandwidth Bandwidth are already known When repeatedly scanning the same frequency with the same bandwidth the results of the new channel scan will overwrite the existing results of previous scans The indicators Strength Strength and Quality Quality display the current signal status according to the reception parameter settings The determining factor for a reliable reception is namely the high value of the Quality Quality indicator Perform steps no 1 8 of the procedure described in paragraph 1 1 and continue according to the following instructions 9 To display the manual channel scan Manual Scan screen see fig 2 press the green button 10 Use the up down arrows to select Frequency 11 Use the numerical buttons 0 9 to enter the frequency that you wish to scan 12 Use the up down arrows to select Bandwidth 13 Use the left right buttons to enter the bandwidth value 14 To start the channel scan press the OK button Wait until the scan is completed To cancel the channel scan press the EXIT button Fig 2 Manual Scan editing screen EN 7
