Using the menu 2 2 3 1 Channel Lock Block access to a channel Function for blocking access to channels which you lock in the channel list For access to the blocked channel a valid password will need to be entered 2 2 3 3 Censorship Lock Function for blocking access to TV programs it uses the access limit rating a part of the transmitted information To watch a program with a higher than specified access limit rating a valid password will need to be entered 2 2 3 4 Change Password Change the password To change the password select the function Change Password and press the left or right button and then gradually enter the old password Old Password new password New Password an arbitrary four digit number chosen by the user and confirm by reentering the new password Confirm Password Successful password change will be confirmed by the message PIN Code Changed and an error will be indicated by the message PIN Code Error 2 2 4 Advance Timer Timer Channel parameters for the automatic switching of the device to receive a desired program date time etc can be entered manually or you can take this information from the EPG Electronic TV program guide see paragraph 2 3 2 When the programmed date and time occur the device will automatically turn itself on and switch to the specified channel If necessary the advance timer can be cancelled To end the reception of the programmed channel press any button with the exception of VOL a MUTE 2 2 5 Set Default Reset to factory settings This function will change all the devices settings back to the factory settings and all TV channel and radio station lists will be deleted 2 2 6 SW Update Optional upload SW optional Using a connected USB device you can update the software Enter the file manager and using the left right I OK buttons change the directory and select a file with the software and press the OK button to confirm and the software will be uploaded Note This function is not available on all models EN 11
