To replace the batteries proceed in the same way.
Note:
1. Do not use old batteries or batteries of the wrong type. This may
lead to RC malfunctions.
2. If you do not use the RC unit for more than 1 month, remove the
batteries from the RC unit as they may leak and damage the unit.
3. The service life of the batteries if used daily is approximately 6
months.
4. Replace the batteries if there is no audio signal confirming receipt
of the RC commands or no command signal on the display.

Note:
As the remote control application is constantly being improved and
updated, the interface may change. Images are for reference only.
Download and install the app
The app can be downloaded in two ways.
– Search for «AC Freedom» app on Google Play or App store, download
and install it on your device.
– Scan the QR-code (see Figure 1) and you will be automatically
redirected to the app download page. Download and install it on
your device.

– Turn on your wireless router (WI
-
FI router) and make sure the air
conditioner and mobile device are within range.
– Turn on the air conditioner using the remote control by pressing
the ON/OFF button.
– Aiming the air conditioner controller at the indoor unit, press and
hold the «COOL» «+» buttons for 3 seconds, a beep will sound.
Note: each press of the button is confirmed by one beep, when
finished, a double beep is heard.
– Connect your smartphone, tablet or other mobile device to WI
-
FI or
other hotspot. Check the bandwidth of your router, if it is 2.4 G / 5 G
dual band, make sure it is 2.4 G (disable 5 G).
Application activation
When you start the application for the first time, you need to activate
it. Activation can be done in two ways:
– Scan the QR-code (see Fig. 2).
– Enter manually the activation code: 6364d and click the Activate
button.

Setting up the air conditioner (Fig. 3)
Click the «Add device» button, in the window that appears, enter
the data of the wireless network - «WIFI name» is the name of the
network and the «Password» password to connect to the network.
At the end of the entry, click the «Start the configuration» button.
The application will start searching for air conditioners available for
connection.

The configuration can take up to a minute to complete. After finishing
the setting, the indication that the setting is complete will appear at
the bottom of the screen. After that, the program will automatically
return to the page with the list of air conditioners.
Note: if the air conditioner does not connect the first time, restart the
Wi-Fi router and go through all the steps in order.
Air conditioner control
To configure and control the air conditioner, click on the name of the
air conditioner in the device list. A window will open in which you can
remotely control your air conditioner.
Changing the name of the air conditioner
To rename the air conditioner in the device list, press and hold the
symbol for 0.5 seconds.
Blocking the air conditioner
To lock the air conditioner, click the Lock Device icon. When the
device is locked, other users cannot find it, thus preventing outside
interference.
Resetting the WI

FI module
After changing the connected wireless router, the WI
-
FI module inside
the air conditioner must be reset. Press and hold the «COOL» «+»
buttons for 3 seconds after turning on the air conditioner. The reset is
done when you hear the buzzer beeps.
5. AIR CONDITIONER MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! Disconnect the AC from power supply before performing
any maintenance operations.
INDOOR UNIT FRONT PANEL MAINTENANCE
Careful maintenance and regular cleaning will help extend the
service life of the appliance and reduce power consumption.
Observe the following suggestions when cleaning the appliance:
– do not stand on an unstable surface when wiping the appliance;
you may fall down and injure yourself and damage the appliance;
– do not touch the metal parts of the housing when removing the
front panel to avoid injury;
– use a dry cloth to clean the front panel and the RC unit, if the
contamination will not come off use a damp cloth.
Note:
1. Do not submerge or wash the appliance and the RC unit in water!
2. Do not use alcohol-containing liquids, gasoline, oils or polishers to
clean the unit.
