AIR FILTER CLEANING
1. Raise the front panel to the stop, then lift the protruding part of the
filter and remove it.
2. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or rinse it with water. If the
filter is heavily contaminated wash it in warm water with a mild
detergent. Let the filter dry completely in a shaded place.
3. Reinstall the filter and close the front panel.
MAINTENANCE
At the end of a season
The following action should be taken:
turn on the AC in the VENTILATION for a prolonged time;
disconnect the appliance from power supply;
clean the air filter;
wipe the indoor and outdoor units with a soft dry cloth;
remove the batteries from the RC unit.
At the beginning of a season
The following action should be taken:
ensure that the intake and exhaust openings on the indoor and
outdoor units are not blocked;
ensure there is no corrosion or rust on the outdoor unit;
ensure that the air filter has been cleaned;
connect the AC to power supply;
install the batteries into the RC unit.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING
1 The AC will not
turn on
the plug is not firmly inserted in the
power socket
RC batteries are depleted
overload safety has been tripped
insufficient power system voltage
2 The air is not
cooled/heated
air intake/exhaust openings blocked
wrong temperature setting
air filter contaminated
3 AC control
malfunctions
The appliance can malfunction
because of high interference (high
static electricity levels, power supply
interruptions). In this case disconnect the
AC from power supply and connect again
after 2 or 3 seconds
4 Delayed
operation
Operating mode changes during
operation may take up to 3 minutes
5 Unpleasant odor The AC can absorb unpleasant smells
(e.g. furniture smells, cigarette smoke)
which are then expelled with the exhaust
air
6 Running water
sound
caused by refrigerant circulation in the
system and is not a malfunction
defrosting sound during heating
7 Crackling sound The crackling is caused by the
temperature expansion or contraction of
the front panel
8 Moisture
sprayed out of
the exhaust
opening
Moisture occurs if the air in the room
becomes very cold because of cold air
discharge in the cooling or drying mode
9 Delayed air
discharge in the
HEATING mode
The AC is not capable of immediate hot air
discharge. Please wait for 2-5 minutes
10 Air discharge
interrupts for
5-10 minutes
in the heating
mode
The appliance defrosts automatically,
perspiration appears on the outer
surface. After defrosting the unit will
automatically resume operation
11 The RC unit
does not work
correctly
obstacles between the signal receiver
and the RC unit
RC batteries are depleted
7. AIR CONDITIONER INSTALLATION
ATTENTION!
Carefully read the present manual before installing the equipment.
Installation work should only be done by qualified and certified
personnel in compliance with the Electrical Installation Regulations
(PUE).
The air conditioner should be securely earthed.
Carefully check all pipeline and cable connections before turning
the AC on.
Do not install the appliance in a laundry room or bathroom.
The power cable plug should be accessible after installation of the
appliance.
The installation of the AC may require parts not included in the scope
of supply. Such parts shall be purchased separately.
INDOOR UNIT LOCATION
Away from heat sources, flammable gases and fumes.
In a well-ventilated space.
At least 1m away from wireless equipment (TV, radio, etc.).
Mounted on a wall that can support the weight of the unit and will
not generate noise during operation.
The distance between the floor and the indoor unit should be at least
2,3 m.
Check the installation distances as shown in Fig. 1.
The rear panel of the indoor unit should be located as closely to the
wall as possible.
All drawings are schematic.
