OnceaDX0.5hasbeenlocked,youhave the optionofallowingthevarious processing parametervaluestobe shown ornot.
TurntheEdit2[8]orEdit3[9]ControltoscrollbetweenParameter will be shown[default]andParameter will
not be shown.Ifchanging,presstheEnterButton[10]onlyoncehere.TheprocessorwillreturntotheShowParameter
splashscreen.
LockUnit
LockingaDX0.5preventsaccidentalchangestoitssettings.
TurntheEdit2[8]orEdit3[9]ControltoscrollbetweenLock : Off [default]andLock : On.Ifchanging,presstheEnter
Button[10]onlyoncehere.
When locked, a symbol resembling a key will appear in the lower‐right hand area of the LCDDisplay [6]. Pressing the Utility
Button[12]herereturnsyo
udirectlytotheLockUnitsplashscreen.
Whenunlocked,thekeysymboldisappearsandtheprocessorwillreturntotheSecurityUtilitiessplashscreen.
UserPassword
Fortheultimate protectionfrom accidental and intentionalparameteradjustments,setup a user passwordhere.Onlythose
withthepasswordwillbeallowedaccesstoeditprocessorsettings.
TheNav/Edit1Control[7]movesthecursorleftandrightwhiletheEdit2[8]andEdit3[9]Controlschangethetext.
Inordertocha
ngethepassword,thecurrentpasswordneedstobeentered.Thedefault/factorypasswordis:000000
EnterthecurrentpasswordandpresstheEnterButton[10].Itwillnowpromptyouforanewpassword.Useasfewasone(and
uptoamaximumofsix)characters,usinganycombinatio
nofletters,numbersandsymbols.Enteranewpasswordandpress
theEnterButton[10].Itwillnowpromptyoutoconfirmthenewpassword.EnteritandpresstheEnterButtonagaintoconfirm.
TheprocessorwillreturntotheUserPasswordsplashscreen.
Iftheenteredpasswordiswrong,the splash screenwilldisplayPassword Wrong!andthe processorwillreturntothe
UserPasswordsplashscreenwithoutchanging thepassword.
Thepasswordhasbeenupdated,butitisstilldisabled.Thisleadsustothe fourth–andfinal–sub‐menu:
