Maintenance
Lubricating of blades
Regularly lubricate the blades using the oil (13)
supplied with the unit.
– Switch the unit off using the power switch (1)
and unplug it.
– Apply one-two drops of oil (13) on the teeth
of the blades (3, 4) and the back side of the
upper blade (3), switch the unit on and make
sure that the blades are moving smoothly.
– Switch the unit off. Clean the excess oil with
a dry cloth.
Attention! Use only the oil supplied with the
unit.
DO NOT use vegetable oil, fat, mixture of oil and
solvents for lubrication.
Solvents will evaporate, leaving the thick oil that
may slow down the blades motion.
Cleaning
– Wipe the accessories and unit body with a
slightly wet cloth, and then dry them with a
soft cloth.
– Do not immerse the units into water or other
liquids.
– Do not use solvents or abrasives for cleaning
of the unit.
Cleaning of hair clipper
– Switch the unit off and unplug it.
– Clean the blades from the cut hair, using the
cleaning brush (14).
Cleaning of trimmer
– Make sure that the unit is switched off;
– Remove the trimmer attachment (16) rotat-
ing it counterclockwise and pulling upwards.
– Remove the cutting block from the attach-
ment (16).
– Clean the cutting block and the attachment
(16) from the cut hair, using the cleaning
brush (14).
– Install the cutting block back to its place.
– Place the attachment (16) on the motor
unit (17) and rotate the trimmer attachment
clockwise until bumping.
Storage
– Clean the hair clipper and the trimmer and
lubricate the blades (3, 4) with lubricating oil
(13) before taking the unit away for storage.
– Install the trimmer protection cap (15) back
to its place.
– Remove the batteries from the battery com-
partment (19).
– Keep the units away from children in a dry
cool place.
