Browser Settings
The following are the available Browser settings:
l Default zoom — Select this setting to set the zoom level on web pages.
l Set text encoding—Select this setting to set the text encoding for web pages.
l Block pop-up windows— Select this check box to prevent pop-up windows from appearing.
l Load images — Select this check box to display images on web pages.
l Enable JavaScript— Select this check box to enable Javascript.
l Preview Mode — Select this check box to load web pages in preview mode.
l Set home page —Select this setting to set your home page.
l Reset home page — Select this setting to reset the default home page.
l Search portal —Select this setting to set the default search engine to use.
l Data connection— Select this setting to set the data network to which you want to connect.
l Clear cache— Select this setting to delete all cached page contents.
l Clear history— Select this setting to clear the browser navigation history.
l Accept cookies— Select this check box to allow sites to save and read “cookie” data.
l Clear all cookie data— Select this setting to delete all browser cookies.
l Remember form data— Select this check box to save the data you typed in forms for later use.
l Clear form data— Select this setting to delete all saved form data.
l Remember passwords— Select this check box to save usernames and passwords for websites.
l Clear passwords— Select this setting to delete all saved passwords.
l Show security warning— Select this check box to show security warnings if there is a problem with a website.
l Restore to default— Select this setting to clear all browser data and reset all settings to factory default.
l Set download directory —Select this setting to set the target location for all downloads.
l Download media files —Select this setting to download audio and video files to play.
To change Browser settings:
1 Open the Browser’s home page.
2 Press the Options button to open the Options panel.
3 Tap the Settings icon to open the Browser Settings screen.
NOTE: To change the Browser settings, you must be on the Browser’s home page.
4 Select the appropriate settings that you want to change.
