4.1 KIVA KILO connection

he KIVA and the KILO enclosures are equipped with

two 4-point SpeakON

connectors wired in parallel.

The IN connector allows receiving the audio signals,

whereas the LINK connector allows routing them to

another similar enclosure in parallel.

The KIVA KILO system is amplified by the L-ACOUSTICS

LA4 amplified controller.

To cable the system, two options are available:

KIVA line source, single elements or pairs:



Use an SP cable (SP5, SP10 or SP25) to connect 1 KIVA enclosure to each of the four LA4 output channels.

[KIVA] or [KIVA_FI] preset.

KIVA/KILO line source:



Use SP cables (SP5, SP10 or SP25) to connect 1 KILO enclosure and 3 KIVA enclosures to the LA4. The channel 1 is

for the KILO enclosure whereas the remaining channels are for the KIVA enclosures.

[KIVA_KILO] or [KIVA_KILO_60] preset.

One additional similar enclosure can be connected in parallel with each of the first ones by using SP cables (SP.7, SP5,

SP10 or SP25).

Maximum of 8 enclosures per LA4

2 KIVA or 2 KILO enclosures or can be connected to each output channel on the LA4.

Impedance load

8 Ω for 1 enclosure per output; 4 Ω for 2 enclosures in parallel.
