9 INSTRUCTION MANUAL
The amount of water less than 0.5 liters (to the minimum level) may cause the water to boil
out, heat the empty kettle and break it.
Water exceeding the maximum level (1.7 L) will be spilled when boiling.
Make sure that the kettle lid is properly and tightly closed, otherwise the kettle will not
automatically turn off.
Put the kettle on the stand. The base of the kettle should fit exactly on the stand.
Insert the plug into a grounded outlet.
Turn the "O/I" switch to the "I" position, after which the appliance lights up and the heating
starts. Do not touch any part of the kettle that is on, other than the handle.
When the water boils, the light on the appliance will go out and the kettle will automatically
turn off. The "O/I" switch will automatically return to the "O" position. The kettle can also be
turned off manually by switching The switch "O/I" to the "O" position.
Remove the kettle from the stand and carefully pour water into the cups. The kettle must be
turned off.
ATTENTION! Your kettle is equipped with an overheat protection system. If there is no or little
water in the kettle, it will automatically turn off when it overheats. If this happens, you must
wait at least half an hour for the kettle to cool down, after which you can pour water.
Protection against switching on without water
If you accidentally turn on the kettle without water, or if the water in the kettle has boiled out,
the installed protection will automatically turn off the heating element. In this case, immediately
remove the plug from the socket, let the kettle cool for 5-10 minutes, and then pour water into the
kettle and turn it on again. The kettle will heat up as usual.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the appliance remove the plug from the wall socket and wait until the kettle
has cooled.
Do not use abrasive or aggressive substances for cleaning.
Do not immerse the kettle, stand, or cord in water or any other liquid.
Wipe the case with a slightly damp cloth or sponge. Wipe off dirt and stains with a soft cloth
dipped in a mild solution of a gentle detergent.
Regularly remove the scale from the kettle. It is formed mainly on the heating element and
prevents heating. The rate of scale formation depends on the degree of water hardness and the
frequency of use of the kettle.
Descaling
If the kettle is turned off before boiling, remove the scale that has formed in it.
Scale must be removed regularly, with normal use of the kettle at least 2 times a year.
Using conventional means for removal of scale, boil a few pour the solution into the kettle as
described in the instructions provided with this product. Then pour out the solution and rinse
the kettle thoroughly.
Scale can also be removed using ordinary vinegar. To do this, pour the solution into the kettle
to the maximum mark in the following proportion: 1-part vinegar and 2 parts water. Turn on
the kettle and wait for it to turn off automatically. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
