Kitchen hood
8. BEFORE GETTING STARTED
WARNING: Do not proceed with
the installation of the kitchen hood
and do not remove the protective lm
from the stainless steel hood until you
have ensured that it is technically fault-
free by connecting it to the mains and
checking all functions. It is advisable to
remove the protective lm from stain-
less steel hoods after the installation
has been completed.
WARNING! Use only screws and
hardware suitable for the installation of
the hood.
Installation of the kitchen
hood:
 Follow point 1.2 (g. 1) when in-
stalling the hood.
 Always install the hood above
the central part of the stove (hob) (g.
5); the hood must be installed in a
hanging piece of furniture above the
stove (hob).
 When installing the hood, the al-
uminium lter must be removed (g. 4);
the appliance is xed to the shelf with
self-tapping screws 3.5x13 mm (g. 6).
 If the width of the shelf in which
the hood is installed is greater than 300
mm, corner trims must be installed to
compensate for the gap.
 Cover the gap at the bottom with
a decorative trim.
Depending on the operating mode
of the kitchen hood, connect the fan to
the ventilation grille (g. 7) with a semi-

rigid corrugated duct (or equivalent) or
install activated carbon lters (g. 8).
 The carbon lters are installed in
the hood in accordance with the lter
installation instructions
