3.6 Utensl test
Never operate the mcrowave oven empty. The only excepton s the utensl test descrbed n the follo-
wng secton. Some certan non-metal utensls may not be sutable for usng n mcrowave. If you are not
sure whether your utensl s sutable for mcrowave, you can perform the followng test.
1. Place the empty utensl to be tested nto the mcrowave oven together wth a mcrowave-compatble
glass flled wth 250 ml water.
2. Operate the mcrowave oven at max power for 1 mnute.
3. Check carefully the temperature of the utensl beng tested. If t s warmed up, t s not sutable for
use n mcrowave.
4. Never exceed the operatng tme lmt of 1 mnute. If you notce arcng durng 1 mnute of operaton,
stop the mcrowave. Utensls causng arcng are not sutable for use n mcrowave.
