IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this and other electrical appliances, the basic safety precautions listed should
always be followed:
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
2. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
4. The appliance should not be placed against a wall.
5. The temperature of accessible surface may be high when the appliance is operating.
6. The metal surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
7. The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
8. The appliance is for indoor use only.
9. The appliances must not be immersed in water for cleaning.
10. Always unplug the toaster from electrical outlet and allow to cool before cleaning.
11. Clean external (attachment), internal activity nets with damp cotton cloth and pull out crumb
tray for cleaning (Don't touch internal heating elements during cleaning and maintenance).
12. The appliance is for cooking only.
13. Please note the operation time of this appliance should not be more than 1 hour.
14. Bread may burn. Therefore toasters must not be used near or below curtains and other
combustible materials, They must be watched.
15. Warning: If toaster of small bread slices less than 85mm length , you must pay attention to
the potential risk of burn injury due to contact with hot accessible parts when taking out the
slices.
16. Caution: when toasting pastries, the filling in pastries may be very hot if the surface of the
pastry becomes brown.

SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their
use. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or
table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
