www.rondell.ru.

• Transport the unit in the original packaging only.

• Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children

and people with disabilities.

Caution: danger of fire.

ATTENTION!

– Fill the unit only with drinking water.

– Do not block the ventilation openings located in the unit

body or in the built-in construction.

– Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accel-

erate the thawing process, other than those recom-

mended by the manufacturer.

– Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

– Refrigerant leakage can cause a fire or serious

accident.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After unit transportation or storage at low temperature

keep it for at least three hours at room temperature

before switching on.

Wait at least 12 hours before switching the unit on.

This time is necessary for the refrigerant to settle in

the cooling circuit.

– Remove the unit from the package and remove the pack-

aging materials.

– Clean thoroughly the water tank, the ice basket and the

ice scoop.

– Wash the unit from the inside with water. To drain the

water from the unit, open the draining opening on the

bottom side of the unit.

– Install the unit on a solid, flat and even horizontal sur-

face.

– Select an installation place so that children will not have

access to the unit.

– Protect the unit from direct sunlight.

– The unit is not designed to be built into cabinet furniture.

– When positioning the unit, leave 15 cm of space on the

sides and back, and space on top for easy opening of

the lid.

– Do not cover the ventilation openings on the unit and do

not block them.

– Make sure that the mains socket is easily accessible so

that you can easily remove the power cord.

– Do not connect the unit to the mains socket without

grounding contact.

OPERATION

• Open the lid (2) and remove the ice basket (8).

• Pour about 2.2 l of drinking water into the water tank (not

exceeding the MAX mark).

• Install the ice basket back to its place.

• Close the lid (2).

• Connect the unit to the mains, you will hear a sound sig-

nal and the indicator (12) will start flashing.

• Press the button (14), you will hear a short sound signal,

and the indicator (12) will glow constantly. The compres-

sor and the pump will switch on. After the ice making dish

is filled with water, the pump will stop. After 6-12 min-

utes, depending on the air temperature, a batch of ice

will be ready.

Notes:

– do not open the lid (2) during ice making, as it decreases

the ice maker productivity.

– when using the unit for the first time or after long term

storage, dispose of ice from the first 2 ice making

cycles.

– ice from the first 3 ice making cycles will have smaller

size.

• When the basket is filled with approximately 0.7 kg of ice,

you will hear an intermittent sound signal and the indica-

tor (11) will light up. Remove the ice from the basket for

further ice making.

• When the water level in the tank is low, the indicator (13)

will light up on the control panel (4).

• Fill the tank with clean drinking water. Do not exceed the

maximal level mark.

Notes:

– water should not reach the bottom edge of the basket

(8) by 5.0 mm

– use cool water below 15°C temperature.

– when the water level is low ice will have smaller size.

• To start making ice, press the button (14).

• To stop making ice, press the button (14) during the unit

operation. The ice maker will switch to standby mode.

• It is recommended to change water in the tank once

a day.
