5. PREPARATION AND OPERATION

Speaker placement

• Place the speakers symmetrically to the listener at least one meter away.

• Place MSS far away from monitors and TV sets, as insigniﬁcant image distortion in these super-

sensitive devices is possible.

MSS Connecting

Sven 315 Multimedia Speaker System can be connected to virtually any audio source: DVD/CD, PC

sound card, etc. (see Fig. 2 below).

• Before connecting, make sure that MSS is unplugged. Connect passive speaker to active

speaker via audio cable built-in passive speaker. Then connect signal cable mini-jack 3,5 mm c

built-in active speaker to audio output of the sound source, for example computer, as shown in

the diagram below.

• Connect USB-connector to USB-port of PC (laptop or 5V DC power supply) via USB-cable d

built-in active speaker.

Note:

• To connect MSS to CD/DVD-players, stereo signal cable mini-jack to mini-jack and

adapter RCA to mini-jack (not included) should be used.
