13. Place the floor coating that you have chosen

(Figure A6.6). Ceramic tiling or any other floor

coating can be only done after you have made

sure that all measured values comply with the

standards.

14. Only after the cement and sand mortar is fully cured

(in accordance with the mortar application manual)

the Heatline-2 underfloor heating will be ready to

operate.

11.1. CONNECTING OF HEATLINE-2

UNDERFLOOR HEATING TO THE

THERMOSTAT

To get Heatline-2 twin-core floor properly

connected to the heat controller you should

connect the hookup wires to the thermostat socket

(terminals).

Before getting a heating unit connected to the thermostat

make sure that there are identification tags on the hookup

wire. The Heatline-2 twin-core heating unit hookup

diagram is shown in Figure А.7.

The hookup wiring pins identified as N and L are

connected to the heating cable core and shall be

connected to the thermostat terminals:

-neutral; L

- live.

The hookup wiring pins identified as PE are connected to

the heating cable braided shield and shall be connected

to the existing earth loop.

12. HEATLINE-2 UNDERFLOOR HEATING

ACTUATION AND OPERATION

Heatline-2 underfloor heating can be only actuated after

the cement and sand screed gets fully dry. Screed curing

timing shall be set up in accordance with the mortar

application manual.

It is strictly prohibited to dry the creed with

Heatline-2 electrical underfloor heating!

Switch on the thermostat and set up a desirable heating

level. When actuating the Heatline-2 system for the first

time, the underfloor heating sensation may appear in a

lengthy period of time, which can be a few days. Don’t

worry and let the system fully heat the floor surface, which

usually takes 72 hours.

14. HEATLINE-2 TWIN-CORED HEATING

UNIT PARAMETERS

The manufacturer reserves the right to make any

changes in the structure and outfitting of the heating

units that don’t worsen the end-user performance

and characteristics of the product without a prior

notification.

15. WARRANTY CERTIFICATE

(TO BE FILLED IN BY TRADING AND

INSTALLATION COMPANIES)

It is compulsory for being filled in. The warranty

liabilities shall not cover commodities without

the Warranty Certificate having been filled in.

13. SAFETY

• It is not permitted to make any changes in the

heating unit structure.

• It is not permitted to replace supply leads

(hookup wires) on your own disrupting the

manufacturer’s connections in the box.

• It is prohibited to make any changes in the

thermostat structure on your own.

• It is not permitted to plug in a heating unit in

coils.

• It is not permitted to plug in a heating unit, whose

voltage doesn’t comply with the operating voltage

mentioned in the unit testing certiﬁcate, on the

identiﬁcation tag or packaging.

• It is not permitted to carry out work on heating

unit installation without having switched the

voltage off.

• The system connection should be done by a

trained electrician.

• It is not permitted to use a heating unit without a

minimum solution bed that would fully cover the

heating cable.

• The ﬁlling of a heating unit should be carried out

distributing the tile-fastening mortar thoroughly and

evenly around the whole surface, making sure that

no air voids are left around the heating cable.

• Don’t hammer nails, anchor studs or don’t screw

bolts or self-tapping screws under which a heating

unit is installed.

• When any of the above-mentioned requirements is

breached the manufacturer shall disclaim all

warrant liabilities!
