4.1 SAFETY WARNINGS FOR THE GRASS TRIMMER
a. Do not use the lawnmower in adverse weather conditions, especially if there is a risk
of lightning. In this way you reduce the risk of being struck by lightning.
b. Carefully check that there is no wildlife in the area where the lawnmower is to be
used. When operated, the lawnmower may injure wildlife.
c. Thoroughly inspect the area where the lawnmower will be working, removing all
stones, twigs, wires, bones and other foreign objects. If the lawnmower encounters
these objects while in use, it will project them resulting in personal injury.
d. Before using the lawnmower, always visually inspect it for wear or damage to the
blade and blade assembly. Worn or damaged parts increase the risk of injury.
e. Regularly inspect the grass catcher for wear or deterioration. If worn or damaged, the
grass catcher may increase the risk of personal injury.
f. Keep the guards in place. Guards must be in working order and properly fitted. A
loose, damaged or improperly functioning guard can cause personal injury.
