Establishing an Apple CarPlay Connection

Connecting to an Apple CarPlay device can be done using a wired or

wireless connection.

● Compatible devices

To use Apple CarPlay, an Apple iPhone (iOS ver.11 or later) is required.

Display the Apple CarPlay screen

■ Wired connection

1. Connect a compatible device to the USB port. Apple CarPlay will start

automatically.

● Follow the instructions on the phone to enable wireless Apple CarPlay

connection as well.

INFORMATION

For best performance and compatibility, ensure that you use a USB cable certified

or approved by the manufacturer.

■ Wireless connection

1 Pair a compatible device via Bluetooth

(→ P.23).

2 When the multimedia system detects the device supports Apple

CarPlay, a pop-up will appear.
