Establishing an Android Auto Connection

Connecting to an Android Auto device can be done using a wired or wire-

less connection.

● Compatible devices

To use Android Auto, an Android device is required with Android OS ver.

6.0 or higher, an active data plan and the Android Auto app.

For wireless connection with Android Auto, additional requirements apply.

Display the Android Auto screen

■ Wired connection

1. Connect a compatible device to the USB port. Android Auto will start

automatically.

● Connecting an Android Auto device will cause it to be paired to the

multimedia system automatically.

INFORMATION

For best performance and compatibility, ensure that you use a USB cable certified

or approved by the manufacturer.

■ Wireless connection

1 Pair a compatible device via Bluetooth

(→ P.23).

2 When the multimedia system detects the device supports Android

Auto, a pop-up will appear.

3 Click [Enable] to start wireless Android Auto.

If the Android Auto application is not installed, the device may prompt you to

download the Android Auto application and other required applications.
