CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

GUIDELINES FOR PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT: This appliance should not

be put into the domestic garbage at the end of its durability, but must be offered at a

central point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol

on the appliance, instruction manual and packaging puts your attention to this important

issue. The materials used in this appliance can be recycled. By recycling of used domestic

appliances you contribute an important push to the protection of our environment. Ask

your local authorities for information regarding the point of recollection.

Wear personal protective equipment when working with the device.

1. Check whether the inserted cutting disc and the set speed are suitable for the

intended operation.

2. Check that the workpiece is secured and that the work area is properly

prepared.

3. Push the on / off switch forward.

4. Press and hold the On / Off button during operation.

5. After each disc change and connection or installation, carry out a no-load test

run for approximately 1 minute to check the cutting disc for proper seating.

6. After switching on, allow the device to reach its maximum speed. However,

start working later.

7. Use the On / Off button to turn off the device.

Attention

After the device is turned off, the disc continues to run. Risk of injury.

CAUTION: Make sure that the machine is not live when carrying out maintenance

work on the motor.

• Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.

Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.If the dirt does not come off

use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water. Never use solvents such as petrol,

alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may damage the plastic parts.

• The machine requires no additional lubrication.
