Philips SCX463 [9/102] Microphone sensitivity control

connection light on the parent unit burns green continuously
Use the microphone sensitivity control to set the microphone sensitivity of the baby unit to
the desired level. You can use your own voice as a sound reference. (Fig. 15)
The power-on light on the baby unit turns yellow when a sound is picked up.
Connection alarm
You can switch on the connection alarm on the parent unit. The connection alarm beeps when the
connection between the units is lost.
1 Turn the locking knob in the bottom a quarter turn (1) and slide the battery compartment
lid downwards to remove it (2). (Fig. 6)
2 Set the connection alarm switch in the battery compartment to the ‘on’ (symbol) position.

3 Slide the battery compartment lid back onto the battery compartment (1) and turn the
locking knob in the bottom a quarter turn to fasten the lid (2). (Fig. 8)
To switch off the connection alarm, set the connection alarm switch to the ‘off’ (symbol)
position.
Cleaning

Clean the parent unit and the baby unit with a damp cloth.
Do not immerse the parent unit and the baby unit in water and do not clean them under the tap.
Storage

Remove the batteries if the units are not going to be used for a month or more.
2 Store the appliance in a dry place between 10°C and 40°C.

