CHASSIS Take out piston check valve coil spring and primary cup from the cylinder l i g a nnu oj nxx 01 salt Hindi pah hew i KU dis odi ot the i l in i bore tuk ig nue not io or sciu ih thi hate wdll He udiM oo nut to Jiei e the ASSEMBLY Reassemble the master cylinder in the reverse order to disassembly with taking the follow ing additional steps Be sure to apply brake fluid to the cylinder bore and all the internals to be inserted into the bore Assemble the check valve coil spring and primary cup outside the cylinder and insert the assembly into the bore taking care not to unseat the coil spring off the check valve Remember the spring can easily come off the valve Be careful not to allow the primary cup to cock inside the bore It is advisable to replace the primary cup un less the cup removed in disassembly is in perfect condition 1 iti i s SKM tin cdJp h h the sharp nlge ûhui he pi ig After fitting the circlip try to turn it in place to make sure it is snugly seated in the groove Use of a replacement circlip is ad visable to re using the one removed in dis assembly INSPECTION Using a micrometer measure the cylinder bore and piston to see whether their diameters are within the limits if not replace the cylinder or piston or both Diameter Standard Bore 14 00 mm 0 551 in Over 14 05 mm 0 553 in Piston 13 96 mm 0 550 in Under 13 94 mm 0 549 in Inspect the primary cup and boot for wear and damage and if necessary replace them fl Fig 10 121 Fig 10 119 10 36 Service limit
