Upgrading the firmware of your BD player
Note:
- Do not press any buttons or interrupt the mains supply during the upgrading
process, otherwise the player may become defective.
- Do not unplug or power off the set while upgrading in progress.
1. Press OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray.
2. Insert the upgrade CD.
3. Press OPEN/CLOSE button to close the disc tray.
4. Please wait about 6 minutes while verifying.
5. Check the date of the Firmware version.
a. It will show that the new version will be S/W: 100422.01_xx
6. Press ‘OK’ button to chooseYes’ for upgrade and please remove the disc on the tray, but DO
NOT close the tray
a. If you select ‘No’, BDP7100 will be automatically powered off.
b. If you don’t see above message box, try another disc. Generally, this is caused by
disc quality or a disc creation problem.
7. Please wait for about 10 minutes as the set is performing the upgrading.
8. The set will automatically close the disc tray and go to standby mode once the upgrade is
completed.
9. Press Standby button to turn on the set.
10. Please select the language you want with a corresponding number button.
11. Your product is successfully upgraded!
Confirm successful upgrade
1. After turning on the set, repeat step 1 to verify if the new firmware is correctly upgraded.
2. If you do not see the latest firmware is being upgraded, repeat Step 4 and Step 5.
