1. Choose ONE of the two connection methods:

A. Connect the LaCinema Rugged to your television and stereo with the provided

video composite + stereo cable.

B. Connect the LaCinema Rugged to your television with the provided HDMI cable.

You can also connect the LaCinema Rugged to your home theater receiver’s Optical

digital audio port with an Optical digital audio cable (also called S/PDIF) (not included).

To connect your LaCinema Rugged to your television’s SCART connector, use the included

SCART adaptor.

2. Connect the power supply.

3. Turn on your television and stereo (if applicable).

4. When the LaCinema Rugged is connected to your television, turn it on

by pressing the remote control power button.

5. Use the remote control to select the media ﬁles you want to play.
