(4) In the Service Type field, select Server. The rest of the fields are

enabled.

(5) Configure the rest of the fields, if necessary. For example, you might

want to set the Transfer Max Rate to the maximum value.

(6) Click Apply.

Note: The other P-791R v2 works as client, and options “Enable Rate

Adaption” “Transfer Max Rate” “Transfer Min Rate” and “Standard

Mode” are not available to choose.These parameters are then

determined by server side.

6. Setup the P-791R v2 as a DHCP Relay

• What is DHCP Relay?

DHCP stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. In addition to the

DHCP server feature, the P-791R v2 supports the DHCP relay function. When

it is configured as DHCP server, it assigns the IP addresses to the LAN clients.

When it is configured as DHCP relay, it is responsible for forwarding the

requests and responses negotiating between the DHCP clients and the server.
